Why NovaMax DC Micro Metal Gearmotor?

The NovaMax Motor has become a popular choice for projects requiring both torque and speed. Thanks to their compact, lightweight design, these microgear motors are widely used across various industries. With a stopping torque of 4.5 kg/cm, they deliver reliable performance. While the nominal voltage is 6VDC, the motors can withstand up to 12VDC, offering added versatility. NovaMax is a special series of DC motors produced especially in 2019 for Mini Sumo Robot competitions.

With the 3mm diameter D shape shaft, it is compatible with N20 and SPG10 Wheels:

Installation Guide

1. Manually bend both motor terminals inward.  2. Solder the power and ground wires on the outside of the terminals.   3. Cover the motor terminals and soldered wires with cloth tape. This prevents accidental contact that could short-circuit and damage the motor driver.  4. Now the motors are protected from short circuits during heavy use.
